Barn

There are old
barns all over
Texas.

One of my mother's
best friends was
an artist, and she
influenced me
greatly. She
painted a lot of
barns. I always
loved them. As a
wedding gift, she
let me pick out one
of her paintings. I selected a great landscape with a wonderful old
barn. It is a wonderful reminder of her and the example she always
was to me. I can only hope that I have influenced other young artists
along my journey.
