This is one of the small narrow streets in the little town of Chartres. I made the buildings
a whole lot more colorful than they were...one
of my other watercolor teachers always told us
that we were the masters of the environment;
we could control the color. We were not always
limited to what they call "local color." Anyway, I
am not entirely satisfied with this one, I will try
again.
I am still waiting on the arrival of the Paris sketchbooks.
