Blowing in the Wind



These are two small watercolors from the
sketchbook from Mykonos, my favorite of
the Greek islands. It is famous for the windmills.
And all the buildings are painted white with
either blue or red trim. They are whitewashed
two times a year with lime, that was believed
in the past to help with disease, etc. Whatever
the reason, it makes for delightful scenery.
