Seeing Double

Several years ago, I did a drawing of a baby girl for a client.
It is a large portrait, about 20 x 24.  Awhile back, the same client
brought me this photo of the baby girl's new baby
brother.  She wanted me to do a matching portrait of him
as well.  This is the portrait in progress...some of the shading
done, but not finished.

But tonight, I was able to finish it!  So, here is the new
drawing of the baby boy...

And here is the other earlier drawing of the sister.  They almost
look like twins...a strong family resemblance.  I think these
are going to be gifts for the mom of these babies.  I hope
she will be surprised!

Merry Christmas!!

Clara in Pencil

Did a little sketching this weekend of my favorite smiling face!
There have been several photos I have wanted to draw, but this
is the first one I have tried.  It was fun, and not too difficult.  I will probably
give it to my daughter sooner or later, but right now, I am enjoying it
sitting on my drawing desk!

I can do a drawing of your favorite little one too!  Email me
for info on children's portraits.  I am very reasonable, and
fairly fast.  I can work from your photograph, or I can come
and take some too.
