Final Invitation

Here is the finished product..the painted and

framed wedding invitation. I am going to go to the

wedding this weekend, and give it to the bride

and groom. I hope they will be pleased.

Invitation to Paint

I still do these wedding invitations. I embellish

the original, and custom frame. Lots of people

give them as a wedding gift to the couple.

This one already had the black fleur de lis design

in the corner, so I just added the other little

flourishes and dots. I will put it in a silver

frame, and it will be ready to go to the wedding

tomorrow!

Invitation to a Wedding

I use Go Ahead Tours for my group travel arrangements.

My coordinator is Lauren, and she was recently married.

I offered to decorate her wedding invitation for her, and

she sent me this program instead. She told me they had

used blues and red...so I embellished with some blue leaves

that repeat the small motifs, and then I added the red

berries as well. I will mat it and send it to her in time for

Christmas! ho, ho, ho

Painted Invitation

I finally got around to painting Hannah's wedding

invitation. One of my dearest friends wanted to

give it to her, and I will frame it also. I decided to

do it in autumn colors, instead of the wedding

colors. I figured they will have lots of wedding

photos in their home with all that purple, so this

will be a little different.

If you have received an invitation, and would like

for me to turn it into a hand-painted gift, please

let me know. I only charge $20, and can do any

flower or color scheme. Or if you have an old one

from a special wedding, I can do it as an anniversary

present, etc.
