SkyShow

Wow...God put on a show tonight!  On my way home,
after a rather tough day at work, this was the "skyshow".
This was almost a 360 degree view from the top of the
hill at my driveway.  It looked like He painted it...starting with
the full rainbow, that stretched all the way across the
sky.  Then, there were storm clouds on the horizon, coming
in from the north.  And then there was the sunset....I have not
seen so many different cloud formations all at once!  It was
amazing.  I needed some reassurance tonight, that this
crazy, stressful, upside down world we are living in is still
in God's hands..and wow, did He ever show me that!~
amen and amen

Peace at the Lake

I have been in south Louisiana again this weekend,
and I stopped by Lake Martin on my way home.
This place always makes me smile, and gives me such
peace.  Enjoy!

"Chasing Sunset"

Watching the sun set is one of my very favorite things
to do.  I am fascinated with the ever-changing sky...the patterns
in the clouds, the colors, sun rays, the peacefulness.  Tonight's
sky was especially beautiful.
One of my good friends says that I am always "chasing sunsets"
wherever I happen to be.  Today, I just had to walk out
my back door.

Happy Father's Day!

Heavenly Sunset

I drove to nearby Black Lake late this afternoon, because
the sky was shaping up to be a great sunset.  I was not disappointed!
I took photos from several different locations, and I am always
amazed at how fast the sky changes.  There were several boats full
of fisherman coming in while I was there, and they helped make the
ripples on the water.  I wish I could have gotten some ducks flying
over, but there weren't any.  All in all, it was beautiful, and peaceful for
a Sunday evening.
