Through the Looking Glass

I had some time today to work on these windows.
This one has a fabric pin board, and chalkboard top.
I put a piece of beaded board across the seam.

I added this crown hook, and I will have to add
some backing to seal up the back.

I had made this one earlier, but it needed some
repairs.  It is for sale..it is $50.  It is made of vintage
beaded board, some porch posts, and some hooks.

I also repaired this one.  It is a chalkboard, edged with vintage
beaded board, and some other choice pieces of old
stuff.  It is hanging from a porch post with some burlap
ribbon.  It is also $50.00, and it is at the Pea
Patch Gallery.

I also finished up this one...adding the vintage border on the
left side, and the hanging post.  It is one of my scripture photos
of the mountains in Utah.  It is $75.00.

I am planning to make several more of these
"window art" pieces.  They will all be on display at
the gallery.  If I can do a custom one for you,
just let me know!

Boots and Bags

Here is the finished boot window, with Texas star hanging hooks,
and an antique wooden scroll at the bottom.  Would be great in an entry way,
laundry room, or hallway to hang up your purse, keys, umbrella, etc

Close up of the hanging hook, with a horse shoe
design...cute

And woohoo!!! My first bags arrived today, and they are great!  They are
jute (like burlap) in green with rope handles.  They are lined on the inside
with a khaki colored fabric.  They are on sale now, and they are
$25 each.  They can be paired with the teacup trivets, or our tea cup
t-shirts for a great gift!

Windows on the World

Window with Cowboy boot photo

Arch de Triomphe window

Got these windows done today.  I decided to put the boot photo on this plane
glass window.  It didn't fit in the vertical one.  And the Paris one is just right
in this large white window.  I may add some words or other images, or some
collaged paper...will have to look at them awhile.  Sometimes they will "speak" to
me and give me ideas about what is still needed.  (is that wierd?!)

Anyway, I am going to try to save these to sell in Dallas next January in
my wholesale cash and carry booth.  I will also be taking the printed bags,
coasters, notecards, and all the scripture photos.  I hope it won't be too
hodge-podgey...I will have to try to pull it all together, or at least group it
for display.  We'll see!  Depends on how much I can get done between now and
then.  I have coasters ordered, new scripture photos on the way, and some
more notecards in the works.  They should all be here this week.
Retail store owners will be able to buy and take with them, or place orders
for shipment later.  I will be in the vintage/handmade area in the Cash and Carry
section during the January Dallas Gift and Decorative Wholesale Market.
very exciting!

I leave in the morning for Covington, KY and the CPSA convention.
It will be fun to visit a new area....I have never been to Ohio or Kentucky.
Will try to post while there!
