Boots, and more Boots

One of two options for the boot bag...kinda plain.  The bag is that greenish turquoise color, so I don't want the design to be too turquoise.

This bag is a little bigger, and could be used for a weekend getaway
bag.  It has velcro tabs at the top.
This design has a little more "spunk".  Is it hard to read?   I will keep
working when I can squeeze it in between everything else!

I heard from two cupcake bakeries that may want some of my
cupcake bags...to use for corporate gifts as well as regular gift
bags filled with their yummy cupcakes!  One is in Alexandria, and the
other is in Lafayette, Louisiana.  Hopefully we can do some business
together!  Keep you posted.

YeeHaw!

I am still in Dallas at the gift market, and I have been selling
lots of cowboy and Texas images.  I wish I had brought more!
I sold these two today, along with some other boot themed pieces
to a woman who owns a decorative accessories and furniture business
near Austin.  She would like more pieces like this, maybe some windmills
and barns.  I will get some done, and let her know.

I also sold some of the chalkboards today, and have some interest in more
of them also from several clients.   I have given out a lot of brochures and info
to lots of buyers from gift shops all over the area, so I should see
some online orders in the near future.  They have also given me some
ideas about what they want.  I would like to come out here again in June,
and I will definitely have some more of what they are looking for!

Windows on the World

Window with Cowboy boot photo

Arch de Triomphe window

Got these windows done today.  I decided to put the boot photo on this plane
glass window.  It didn't fit in the vertical one.  And the Paris one is just right
in this large white window.  I may add some words or other images, or some
collaged paper...will have to look at them awhile.  Sometimes they will "speak" to
me and give me ideas about what is still needed.  (is that wierd?!)

Anyway, I am going to try to save these to sell in Dallas next January in
my wholesale cash and carry booth.  I will also be taking the printed bags,
coasters, notecards, and all the scripture photos.  I hope it won't be too
hodge-podgey...I will have to try to pull it all together, or at least group it
for display.  We'll see!  Depends on how much I can get done between now and
then.  I have coasters ordered, new scripture photos on the way, and some
more notecards in the works.  They should all be here this week.
Retail store owners will be able to buy and take with them, or place orders
for shipment later.  I will be in the vintage/handmade area in the Cash and Carry
section during the January Dallas Gift and Decorative Wholesale Market.
very exciting!

I leave in the morning for Covington, KY and the CPSA convention.
It will be fun to visit a new area....I have never been to Ohio or Kentucky.
Will try to post while there!
