A Line in the Sand

Wow...what a day!  We started early this morning,
driving south of Lima on our way to see the
Nazca Lines.  These are ancient designs etched in
the earth on a huge scale.  They believe they were
part of rituals and worship of the gods on
the mountains.  They can only be seen from above,
leading to all kinds of alien theories!  Anyway,
our guide today assured us they were made by
the natives.  Very cool.
